making young people's good ideas happen

Cornwall Community Foundation

The Cornwall Community Foundation (CCF) help by awarding small grants to organisations who are making a positive impact in their local area, helping to overcome the challenges of disadvantage, exclusion and poverty for all ages. They include friendship clubs for older people; youth clubs; support groups for carers and those with a disability. CCF also help by funding village carnivals and celebrations; purchasing of equipment; sport coaching courses and outings, to cash grants for crisis situations.

CCF believe in the true potential of a Cornwall and Isles of Scilly comprised of strong, empowered, self sustaining and enduring local communities that are actively supported by a powerful network of county wide community and voluntary organisations.

CCF help by delivering this vision in partnership with key organisations from the public, private and voluntary sectors including the unitary Council, local businesses and development/support organisations such as the Rural Community Council and Councils for Voluntary Service.

CCF’s purpose is to develop, maintain and grow an endowment fund which will be capable of providing financial assistance in perpetuity for community groups and individuals in Cornwall by increasing the number and volumes of donors i.e. growing capital, and also by providing an honest, open and accessible grants process i.e. distributing income to those in need.
